ISRAEL BONILLA
Israel is an artist based in Central Florida who specializes in creating photorealistic drawings from graphite. Over the course of more than 7 years, he has honed his understanding of value, composition, and perspective to produce work that captures humanity and spirituality. With the goal of evoking intimacy between viewers of his work and the subjects therein, he often depicts close-up and personal imagery that can be ambiguous.
Possessing a strong and constant urge to learn, Israel is always seeking out new ways to create. Among these outlets is a passion for scenic art and the world of theming. Fabricating props and costumes, creating faux finishes, and conceptualizing themed environments have all become a regular pastime and area of study for Israel, earning him chances to work on some of Central Florida's biggest theme parks. These opportunities have fueled Israel's ambitions for the unique art form and inspired him to make plans for future ventures in themed entertainment.
