FAQs

Can I have my work done in color?

Not at this time. All drawings are currently done in grayscale using various combinations of graphite and charcoal. However, Israel is always working towards becoming a more well-rounded artist and does have plans of being able to provide the same, high quality artwork in color.

Can I commission something other than a portrait?

Yes, Israel is open to collaborating with his clients and creating any vision they have in mind.

How long does it take to make a drawing?

This depends on the size and and nature of the work. Portraits typically take 1 to 3 weeks, whereas, the timeline for a more custom piece will vary from project to project.

Will I receive updates on the progress of my drawing?

Yes, as long as you have provided a reliable means of communication. Israel understands that the process of commissioning custom artwork can be uncommon and daunting to many people, and he remains connected with his clients throughout the process to ensure that they are content with the direction of their projects.

How does payment work?

Currently, acceptable payment methods are Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal. Upon receiving a 50% down payment, Israel will begin work on your project and provide you with a concept sketch within 1 to 3 business days. Once the drawing has been completed and Israel has provided you with a photo of the work, the second half of payment will be required prior to shipping.

Is shipping included in the quote?

No, the shipping cost is not reflected in the original quote. It will be calculated and added to the final portion of payment.

Does my artwork have to arrive in a frame?

Yes, all finished pieces will be professionally framed prior to shipping, as this serves to protect the artwork during shipment. The price of the framing will be included in the original quote

Am I free to post pictures of my new artwork?

Of course! Israel loves seeing clients express their enthusiasm about the art he's created. Though it's by no means required, consider tagging Israel or linking his information to help spread the word!
